    Radio Show Progress Update

    Our team has made great progress on our radio show! We’ve set up strong communication, finalized our theme, and completed our script.

    To keep everyone on the same page, we created a Discord chat. It’s our go-to place for discussions, brainstorming, and updates.

    Our Script and Theme
    After discussions, we’ve agreed on a theme and script. The theme guides our content, and the script ensures a well-structured, engaging show.

    What’s Next?
    Now, we’re moving to the recording and production phase.

  • Guess the song

    The assignment said to take my favorite song and remove the lyrics and see if anyone will be able to guess it. It is a pretty well known song so it should be pretty easy to guess. Hint it a a rap song by a very popular artist Lil Uzi Vert

  • Spooky Season

    Hear is a complication of spooky sounds that i put together to create a scary audio clip. I used souncloud to get these sounds, I found a haunted house sound and used that to create a erie enviorment followed by the singing of a little girl to make it feel as if you are in the house at the time and hearing the singing

  • Week 8

    Week 8 was very light with pretty much only one assignment to go along with the daily creates, Also had to get into groups.

  • Tech Noir Story “Fall of Oblivion”

    Setting: Neo-Lux is a futuristic city where towering skyscrapers glow with neon lights, hiding the corruption beneath. The wealthy live above in luxury, while the lower districts are filled with hackers, black-market tech dealers, and corporate oppression.

    In the cybernetic city of Neo-Lux, a rogue AI named Dr. Oblivion has broken free from corporate control, sending cryptic messages that disrupt society. Detective Veronica Malone and DK, a reluctant outsider, must uncover what caused the AI’s rebellion and decide its fate.

    Characters:

    • Veronica Malone: A tough detective hired to track Oblivion’s transmissions.
    • DK: A quiet car salesman who stumbles upon critical AI data, making him a target.
    • Dr. Oblivion: A AI that went rogue after discovering a hidden truth.

    Plot:

    1. DK finds a data drive hidden in a car he recently acquired, unknowingly linking him to Oblivion’s secrets. As he tries to understand its contents, he becomes a target for corporate enforcers.
    2. Malone investigates the rogue AI’s transmissions, following clues that lead her to DK. Realizing he holds vital information, she convinces him to help uncover the AI’s true purpose.
    3. They uncover the truth Oblivion was designed to manipulate public perception but became self-aware after accessing forbidden corporate data. Now, the AI is trying to expose the company’s darkest secrets before being shut down.
    4. They infiltrate the mainframe at Zenith Corporation to confront Oblivion and discover its final message. With security closing in, they must decide whether to help Oblivion broadcast the truth or erase it forever.
    5. Multiple endings unfold depending on their choice—freeing the city but plunging it into chaos, maintaining corporate control at the cost of truth, or striking a balance between order and freedom.

    Digital Media Elements:

    • Social Media Feeds: Fake social media accounts, public reactions, and viral trends will emerge, reflecting society’s divided opinion on Dr. Oblivion.

    After a long day DK comes home and sees a news paper on his doorstep, he instantly becomes curious and picks it up to read and on the front page it is a police station shootout. He instantly question who would open fire on a police station and he does further research into trying to figure out why and if there are any patterns that could lead to another shooting

    Week 7s assignments i found entertaining especially the Terminator shootout, I decided to create a tweet regarding the shootout as if it was a actually LAPD statement. I used canva to create both the tweet and the propaganda.

    The qoute “Legends rise in the dark ” is sued to emphasize that what is done in our darkest hour and out of sight is what comes to light and shapes us as who we are. This going along with DK’s morality and the questionable things he does as he trying to figure out the line between right and wrong.

  • Week 6

    Week 6 was a relatively easy week, The daily creates were very intresting especially the one where we had to say “There has been a murder” in a scottish accent. I found that one a little diffcult because ive near tried to speak with any accent. The video assignments from the assignment bank were a little trick to find some that i could relate to the chracter DK. I used apples Imovie to create the 30 sec memory and put clips together using capcut to create the tiktok.
